Sam was a founding member of SESSION Magazine 单板杂志, the first core snowboarding magazine in China. Sam and the SESSION team pioneered digital magazine tech and design, including the first digital snowboarding magazine app with integrated video and graphics, vertical and horizontal layouts across, iPad, iPhone and Android apps. Sam promoted and employed many of the layout and UI features found in phone and ipad apps today, including bilingual features. The magazine apps that are available on iPads now are still not as user-friendly or feature rich as SESSION was 12 years ago.
