This fall Camouflage by Ai Weiwei was on display at Roosevelt Island in NYC. The installation took over the FDR Four Freedoms Park across the East River from the UN. This powerful installation drew the viewer in by using the playful textures of camouflage and the movement of the shadows they created. The shadows falling on FDR's Four Freedoms quote really hammered the themes home. Here the photos are a cross between architectural and art reproduction photography displaying the artist's intent and the beauty of the park itself. The photos were used by The Photo Glossary.
