For about a year, GoPro had the most ambitious photo program in the world. I was lucky to be a part of the experiment. Unfortunately, it unraveled due to financial pressures from Wall Street and mismanagement in the executive suite. We all went our separate ways in 2016 and 2017, but for a moment 22 of us were releasing hundreds of epic photos per month, many of them were groundbreaking concepts that had never been done before. Their photo team is now down to 1 member. I helped oversee snow sports and action sports. My favorite highlight was capturing the 2016 Winter X-Games in Aspen. During my short time there, I photographed Olympians and action sports pioneers. Here is a small sample of the thousands of photos I worked on throughout that year.
