This tiny East Village apartment was a fun challenge to shoot. As a railroad-style tenement by Tompkins Square park, it's long and narrow floor plan made for limited angles. The best angles were tough to get. But with the right lenses and expert techniques, we were able to show off the architect's and contractor's attention to detail and preserving this old building's historical features, like exposed wood beams and the brick. They expertly intertwined modern design, with built-in cabinets and closets while opening up the floor plan.
